About Peter Nandi - Founder of Dajope Tours and Safaris

From the age of 14 years old, Peter has had an interest in tourism and a passion for his homeland of Tanzania. Following graduation from secondary school with the support and guidance from a family in the UK, he attended a tourism college in Arusha where he achieved the Certificate of Tourism. Due to his hardworking character and exceptional performance in his studies, Peter maintained the support needed to further his educations and qualifications, he successfully achieved a Diploma in Tourism and Business Management at the Institute of Commercial Management - UK.

During his studies, Peter worked at several of the top local guiding and tour companies on Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru for 5 years as a porter as a way of gaining experience and improving his language skills. Then in 2015, he became a Mountain and Safari Guide after successively attending and performing well on a mountain and high altitude training course provided by the Government of Tanzania collaboratively with other institutions.

Peter continues to work with top local companies to secure valuable experience as a Mountain and Safari Guide, and now has gone on to establish Dajope Tours Company whose mission is to promote through travel the beautiful and unique Tanzanian countryside.
